The Follow Up

akcollieIts been a few weeks. A few adventures. A few colonies and planets and systems. The glass eyed Riddick has slipped from Collie's mind and he's figured the scofflaw's scrounged out a new life in the outer rim by choice.
He's on the landing party. No monsters or dignitaries or general oddities. Just a trading colony. Busy and full of life and color and joy.
Collie strolled the market. His kit and pack on his hip. The planet warm enough he wanders in a tank, blue tattooed ink open to the suns and his large Hyacinth Macaw, Blu, rode on his shoulder. The bird drew in offers of purchase and little ones. All denied though a few were allowed to stroke a few feathers.
He was enjoying himself, currently tearing an orange-like fruit apart to share with Blu and just ambling to and fro without real intent or destination.
